What you get
The screen is the exam, and your score is worked out the way the real one is.
- The exam screen, exactly
- Same clock. Same highlighter. Same review screen. Walk into the real test already knowing your way around it.
- Your score before you stand up
- Listening and Reading are scored the second you hand in — and every acceptable answer earns its mark, spelling variants and either-order pairs included. You keep every point you have earned.
- Writing and Speaking that tell you why
- Instructors score all four criteria and write a line on each — for your essays and your recorded Speaking alike — so you find out what moved the band instead of guessing. Or choose AI evaluation for a band and feedback in minutes — your first Writing and Speaking evaluations are free.
- Every band, kept for you
- Each test on record with its module bands and your overall. Watch the line climb instead of trying to remember where you were.

Common questions
Every Cambridge IELTS paper on the platform, Academic and General Training, all four modules: Listening and Reading marked the moment you hand in, Writing and Speaking marked by an instructor — plus one AI Writing and one AI Speaking evaluation on any Cambridge test. A plan adds the Advanced collection and more AI evaluations.
As close as practice gets. The screen, the clock and the question types are a replica of the computer-delivered exam, and your band is worked out to the published IELTS descriptors. Use it to arrive ready — the certificate itself comes from the official test.
You choose, each time you begin one. An instructor scores all four criteria against the published descriptors and writes a line on each. Or the AI gives you a band and feedback on every criterion in minutes, using one of your AI evaluations — and if it cannot evaluate your answer, the evaluation comes back to you and an instructor marks it.
One Writing or one Speaking module marked by our AI against the IELTS band descriptors: a band for each criterion with a comment on each, usually within minutes. For Speaking you also get a transcript of what you said and an analysis of your pace, pauses and hesitation. AI Speaking evaluations are for the Cambridge Speaking tests — the Advanced collection has no Speaking.
A plan opens the Advanced tests for the days it says, counted from the day you buy it, and its AI evaluations can be used while it is open. The Cambridge tests are free for everybody, always, and the free AI evaluations never expire.
As often as you like. Every attempt is kept on its own, so you can watch your score move from one to the next.
Tell us from inside the paper — a person reads every report. When an answer needs fixing we correct it and re-mark everyone it touched, so your score reflects the corrected paper.
